Where Six Nations Welcomes the World

Located on the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, Chiefswood Park is a world class cultural heritage destination that offers a variety of product experiences aiming to teach guests about authentic Haudenosaunee culture while instilling respect for the natural world. The park is nestled along the Grand River which is synonymous with the rich history of the Six Nations and surrounded by one of the last remaining Carolinian forests and tall grass prairie landscapes.

With breathtaking views, canoe and kayak rentals and nature trails, visitors can also enjoy beautiful log cabin accommodations inspired by the 1860s which ties in with the Chiefswood National Historic Site located on the adjacent property. Featuring the comforts of home in a rustic setting, the Park offers 10 quaint studio-style and 5 large log cabins, including two that are wheelchair accessible and one pet friendly option. Chiefswood Park is also known for its wonderful campgrounds. The more avid outdoor lovers can choose between our serviced sites, which offer water and electrical hookups, or our riverside campgrounds equipped with a firepit and picnic table. Our goal is to provide an inclusive, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience for all of our visitors. Chiefswood Park is where Six Nations welcomes the world.
